llm
So we maintain an app with Facebook for oauth signins.
Every once a while they review the privacy policies of the apps.
And every once a while they find new problems with our privacy policy.
This time, we got a purported policy violation because we didn't explain what data was being collected. Which was obviously bullshit, because our policy had all the info they required of us.
After some back and forth, I understood the actual issue is that our privacy policy was too concise. I wrote it personally, I don't get money from writing long-winded legalese, and I don't have billable hours. So it only had as many words in it as was required by the Facebook policy.
Of course, I could write a longer version that were substantially the same, but why would I do that? Luckily this is 2025, and we have LLMs.....
And after slightly modifying the LLM output and submitting it as the new version, they accepted the privacy policy.
Man, what a world we live in.
